Echoes of Tomorrow

VJing and DJing Performance, 2024

“Echoes of Tomorrow” is a VJing and DJing performance that aims to cement a connection between man and machine. The performance is divided into three acts, with the main objective being to tell the story of the origin, progressive evolution, and apocalyptic future of artificial intelligence, drawing an analogy to the origin of humanity. This performance is controlled through a narrative sequence,where the DJ and VJ manage the interplay of visual, auditory, and lighting elements.

This project was developed and performed by João Lopes and António Duarte at ESMAD, P. Porto.

Software used: Maya/Blender, TouchDesigner, Max MSP, QLight, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop and Substance Painter
