Interactive Installation, 2022

A blackbox located at Vila do Conde Porto Fashion Outlet, where mall visitors can freely enter and interact with a projection through full-body movements. As they move, colors paint the wall, and sounds are triggered, embodying the concept of the Circular Festival performance. After the experience, the festival name, date, and program are projected, along with a QR code to access the official Instagram for the experience. Finally, we aim to publish videos of the experience on Instagram, allowing the public to share them, generating organic promotion for the Circular Festival.

Main Objectives

• Promote the Circular Festival;
• Raise awareness and attract new audiences;
• Create a creative “happening” where ordinary people can move their bodies in a performative art setting;
• As a project where the body is the main focus, it also aims to encourage people to break out of sedentary habits and explore unique ways to move their bodies;

This project was developed by Adriana Machado, Guilherme Brandão, Iago Fernandes, Inês Dantas and João Lopes at ESMAD, P. Porto for Circular Festival.
