VR Experience, 2023
In 575 BC, Nebuchadnezzar II built one of the most emblematic pieces of the ancient world. After thousands of years, it can be admired again at the Pergamon Museum, in Berlin.
Now you can have an immersive experience of the same piece but in different timelines. This experience allows the user to 'travel' through time. On one side, they will be in the museum room in front of the gate where it is currently located, and by crossing the gate in the museum room, the user will pass through a tunnel that will take them back in time to the original location of the piece currently in the museum.
This project was developed by João Lopes, André Rocha and António Duarte at ESMAD, P. Porto.
Software used: Maya/Blender, Unity.
